Meditation Station

Before I begin a new piece of work (or if I'm creatively stuck), I meditate to get those ideas flowing. There are so many different types of meditation, and endless resources on the web for learning the different types, and best practices. There are endless guided meditations on youtube and other websites.


You can meditate in just 6 easy steps:

  1. Choose your mantra (phrase to repeat over and over).

  2. Find a comfy area to sit.

  3. Slowly close your eyes and begin. Start by taking some deep breaths.

  4. Begin repeating your mantra silently to yourself without moving your tongue or lips.

  5. Do not try and stop your thoughts or empty your mind.

  6. Stop repeating the mantra.
